I am in touch with a friend who is having a difficult time.
So I was reminded of this poem, I had published in one of the first post of this blog.
The audience again, now that you're reading me a lot, because I find it of great beauty and profound wisdom.
And 'maybe some' long, but I think it's worth To spend a few minutes ...
If your journey to Ithaca,

and full of stories and knowledge. Do not fear the

never find these monsters on the way, if it remains

is the emotion that touches your heart and body

nor Poseidon meet, if not
carry them inside, in your heart, if not

a imparare, imparare dai sapienti.
Itaca tieni sempre nella mente.
La tua sorte ti segna quell'approdo.
Ma non precipitare il tuo viaggio.
Meglio che duri molti anni, che vecchio
tu finalmente attracchi all'isoletta,
ricco di quanto guadagnasti in via,
senza aspettare che ti dia ricchezze.
Itaca t'ha donato il bel viaggio.
Senza di lei non ti mettevi in via.
Nulla ha da darti più.
E se la ritrovi povera, Itaca non t'ha illuso.
Reduce così saggio, così esperto,
avrai capito che vuol dire un'Itaca.

Mi piace pensare al "bel viaggio" della vita. Spero di arrivare anch'io, vecchia, saggia, ed esperta a capire cosa voglia dire un'Itaca.
